Selected Recent Experience:

• Consultant on Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) to Global Biofuels Ltd, a company in Nigeria set up to produce fuel ethanol and electric power generation from sweet sorghum.

• Part of a Consortium currently working with several States and Institutions in areas of Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) and renewable energy.

• Part of Review Team of the Presidential Implementation Committee on CDM (PIC-CDM) that reviewed the following projects:
  1. Project Design Document of the first CDM registered project of Nigeria The utilization of gas that otherwise could have been flared in Okpai, a gas flare reduction project of Nig. Agip Oil Co.
  2. Project Design Document of Gas Gathering Project for Pan Ocean Oil, Lagos.
  3. The Project Design Document of Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) Afam Power Project: a Gas to Power Project.

• Appointed by Chevron Nigeria as an Independent reviewer of Project Design Document for the Escravos Gas Plant Processing Project, (EGP3). A commendation letter on the quality of work was received from CNL.

• Part of a Consortium/ think tank involved in:
  1. A study of the Voluntary Carbon Market and its relevance to Nigeria.
  2. The relevance of Captive Clients in Ethanol Blending CDM projects.
  3. Innovative Financing of Environmental ventures in Nigeria:- Environmental Trust Funds.
  4. Developing Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) projects in Land-use and Land-use change and Forestry (LULUCF).
